In Saturday's league outing, the host Churchill Lancers soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Crater Comets.
The Lancers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts enter the 5A Midwestern outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Thurston by North Eugene (Eugene, OR), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Comets confront the Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) in a 5A Midwestern outing, on Tuesday, October 22. Crater will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Grizzlies enter the outing with a 3-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, OR).
