In Saturday's league outing, the host St. Mark's Lions soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Governor's Academy Governors.
The Lions (1-8) will now prepare for their outing against St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA). The Arrows enter the Independent School outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, St. Sebastian's School tipped Middlesex (Concord, MA), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Governors confront the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs (Dedham, MA) in a Independent School outing, on Wednesday, October 23. Governor's Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 9-2 record after their 5-3 league win over Roxbury Latin (West Roxbury, MA).
