In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Cherokee Washington Braves.
The Crusaders (38-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 17-12 record. In their last challenge, Unity Christian beat Okoboji (Milford, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Braves meet the Sioux City North Stars (Sioux City, IA) in a challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Cherokee Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Stars enter the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA).
