In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Petoskey Northmen volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Boyne City Ramblers.
The Northmen (21-10) will now prepare for their challenge against McBain (McBain, MI). The Ramblers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, McBain beat Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Ramblers meet the McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Boyne City will attempt to upgrade on its 28-12 season record. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 3-1 league win over Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI).
