In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Brown City Green Devils volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Vassar Vulcans.
The Green Devils (22-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI). The Hatchets enter the non-league challenge with a 18-16 record. In their last challenge, Bad Axe was beaten by Cass City (Cass City, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Vulcans meet the Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Vassar will attempt to upgrade on its 17-16 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 3-2 league loss to New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI).
