In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Emmetsburg E'Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Spencer Tigers.
The E'Hawks (24-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The Gaels come into the challenge with a 13-10 record. In their last challenge, St. Edmond lost by Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers play the Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Spencer will attempt to upgrade on its 13-26 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-22 record after their 2-0 league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA).
