Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Glenbard South improves its record to 16-14 on the season. The Raiders travel to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL) to encounter the Storm in a test on Tuesday, October 22. The Storm go into the test with a record of 12-16. South Elgin lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL)

The Saxons now own a 4-25 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belvidere North for a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. Schaumburg will encounter a Blue Thunder squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 12-13.
