In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Imlay City Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Laker Lakers.
The Spartans (25-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes come into the non-league challenge with a 27-11 record. In their last challenge, Garber beat Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lakers play the Bishop Foley Ventures (Madison Heights, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Laker will attempt to upgrade on its 0-27 season record. The Ventures come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Armada (Armada, MI).
