The Vassar Vulcans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Peck Pirates to 1 in the Vulcans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vulcans now have a 17-16 record. They play next when they travel to Memphis for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 19. Vassar will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-2 league win over Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-21.

With the loss, Peck drops to 18-12 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 19. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 9-10. Unionville-Sebewaing won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Caro (Caro, MI)
