In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Treynor Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Stanton Vikings.

The Cardinals (23-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 21-10 record. In their last challenge, Tri-Center lost by Underwood (Underwood, IA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings play the Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 21. Stanton will attempt to upgrade on its 18-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA).
