In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Wheeling Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees.

The Wildcats (18-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Royals come into the non-league challenge with a 3-22 record. In their last challenge, Larkin was nudged by Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Zee-Bees meet the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Zion-Benton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-21 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 10-23 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Shepard (Palos Heights, IL).
