The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), observed Douglass's football squad bounce Central by a count of 58-0.
The Eagles now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Crossland for a Prince George's County 2A/1A contest on Saturday, October 9. Douglass will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 35-0 league loss to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
Coming up next, the Falcons play the Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A contest, on Saturday, October 9. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 49-0 non-league win over Richard Wright Public Charter School (Washington, DC).
