High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. High Point will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
The Pumas now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Suitland for a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Thursday, October 5. Wise will face a Rams team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.
