North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Huskies face the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. North Marion will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Minutemen enter the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 9-0 league loss to Lincoln (Shinnston, WV).
The Vikings now have a 3-7 record.
