The Fort Hill Sentinels football team (Cumberland, MD), was beaten 19-6 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD)
The Miners (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Golden Tornado come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Keyser was beaten by Hampshire (Romney, WV), 28-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Sentinels now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martinsburg for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 9. Fort Hill will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-6 non-league win over Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
