Next, the Trojans confront the Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 5A CSML challenge, on Wednesday, October 4. Fountain-Fort Carson will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 1-0 league win over Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO).

The Hornets now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo Central for a 4A/3A South Central challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Pueblo County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 0-0 league Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-7.
