The Charlton County Indians softball team (Folkston, GA), was routed 8-0 in Monday's non-league test with the host Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA)

Coming up next, the Herons clash with the Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA) in a 2A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, October 3. Brantley County will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 2-14 record after their 8-0 league loss to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA).

The Indians (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 1A D-II Region 2 test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Lanier County overcame Echols County (Statenville, GA), 12-0, in a league test.
