The Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) softball routed the visiting Slater Wildcats (Slater, MO), 10-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Trojans (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lexington (Lexington, MO). The Minutemen go into the Class 2 District 15 bout with a 4-17 record. In their last bout, Lexington notched a victory over St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO), 14-10, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Brunswick for a Class 1 District 9 bout on Thursday, October 5. Slater will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Meadville (Meadville, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.
