Missouri High School Softball - Montgomery County holds off Community

October 2, 2023: Montgomery City, MO 63361

The Montgomery County Wildcats the visiting Community Trojans softball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Elsberry (Elsberry, MO). The Indians go into the Eastern Missouri battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Elsberry nudged Winfield (Winfield, MO), 11-1, in a non-league battle.

The Trojans now possess a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Louisiana for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 3. Community will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over South Shelby (Shelbina, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-10.
