The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Elsberry Indians (Elsberry, MO) and the visiting Winfield Warriors (Winfield, MO), saw Elsberry's softball squad achieve victory over Winfield by a count of 11-1.

The Indians now sport a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery County for a Eastern Missouri match on Tuesday, October 3. Elsberry will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Community (Laddonia, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Winfield falls to 14-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Liberty (Lake St. Louis, MO) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 3. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 16-7. Liberty won 10-4 in their recent non-league match against Howell North (St. Charles, MO)
