In Monday's non-league battle, the host Battlefield Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Woodbridge Vikings.
The Bobcats (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Osbourn (Manassas, VA). The Eagles come into the Cedar Run battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Osbourn lost by Gainesville (Gainesville, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Freedom Eagles (Woodbridge, VA) in a Cardinal battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Woodbridge will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hylton (Woodbridge, VA).
