The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA) and the visiting Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA), saw McKeesport's volleyball squad nip Brentwood by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, McKeesport upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Indians in a WPIAL 3A 1 bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host South Park for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5.
