In Monday's non-league battle, the host Countryside Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Clearwater Tornadoes.

The Cougars (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Tarpon Springs (Tarpon Springs, FL). The Spongers come into the non-league battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Tarpon Springs lost by Dunedin (Dunedin, FL), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tornadoes clash with the Delphi Academy Dragons (Clearwater, FL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Clearwater will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 16-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Pasco (Dade City, FL).
