The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) and the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL), saw Dwight's volleyball squad nip Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Dwight upgrades its record to 7-18 on the year. The Trojans host Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 21-4. Fieldcrest won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Marquette (Ottawa, IL)

The Falcons now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Lexington for a Heart of Illinois bout on Tuesday, October 3. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will play a Minutemen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tri-Point (Cullom, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 10-10.
