The Fridley Tigers volleyball team (Fridley, MN), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN)
The Pirates (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Osseo (Osseo, MN). The Orioles come into the Northwest Suburban challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Osseo nudged Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) in a Tri-Metro challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Fridley will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 15-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN).
