The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) and the host Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA), saw Opelousas's volleyball squad beat Leesville by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Opelousas upgrades its record to 7-12 on the year. The Tigers host LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Gators in a Division II District 1 bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 11-4.

The Wampus Cats now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to DeQuincy for a Division III District 1 bout on Monday, October 9.
