In Monday's league battle, the visiting Sigourney Savages volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lynnville-Sully Hawks.

The Savages (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA). The Tigerhawks come into the South Iowa Cedar battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Colfax-Mingo lost by North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar battle, on Thursday, October 5. Lynnville-Sully will attempt to advance on its 12-10 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 7-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA).
