The Mason Comets football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Middletown Middies to 20 in the Comets league triumph on Wednesday.

The Comets now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colerain for a test on Wednesday, October 9. Mason will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 26-14 non-league loss to Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Middletown drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Middies host Hamilton (Hamilton, OH) to meet the Big Blue in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. The Big Blue come into the test with a record of 0-6. Hamilton lost 28-8 in their recent non-league test against Fairfield (Fairfield, OH)
