California High School Flag Football - Futures trounces Encina

October 2, 2024: Sacramento, CA 95838

In Wednesday's league match, the host Futures Knights flag football squad scored a decisive 39-0 victory over the Encina Bulldogs.

The Knights (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Sacramento Adventist (Carmichael, CA). The Capitals enter the Sierra Delta League match with a 10-2 record. In their last match, Sacramento Adventist routed Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA), 48-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA) in a Sierra Delta League game, on Friday, October 4. Encina will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Wildfires enter the game with a 7-9 record after their 27-0 league win over Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA).
