Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) and the host Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA), saw Ferris's soccer squad knock off Central Valley by a count of 3-1.

The Saxons (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Wildcats enter the 3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Mt. Spokane Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA), 3-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bears confront the Shadle Park Highlanders (Spokane, WA) in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane battle, on Monday, October 7. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Highlanders enter the battle with a 2-9 record after their 1-0 league loss to Mead (Spokane, WA).
