The Lincoln Railsplitters got by the visiting Huron River Rats football team by a score of 14-8 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Railsplitters play the Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 20-19 non-league loss to Bedford (Temperance, MI).
The River Rats (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bedford (Temperance, MI). The Kicking Mules go into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Bedford nipped Saline (Saline, MI), 20-19, in a non-league challenge.
