Illinois High School Soccer - Benet Academy knocks off Joliet Catholic

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Benet Academy Redwings soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers.
The Redwings (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners come into the East Suburban Catholic match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Nazareth Academy achieved victory over Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Niles Notre Dame for a East Suburban Catholic match on Saturday, October 5. Joliet Catholic will meet a Dons team coming off a 5-2 league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Dons record now stands at 10-3.
