The Defenders now hold a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Columbia Area for a PIAA District IV-A challenge on Saturday, October 5. Warrior Run will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Hughesville moves to 4-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Montoursville (Montoursville, PA) to encounter the Warriors in a PIAA District IV-AA challenge on Wednesday, October 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-4.
