Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the West Philadelphia Speedboys (Philadelphia, PA) and the visiting Roxborough Wolves (Philadelphia, PA), saw West Philadelphia's soccer squad hold off Roxborough by a count of 3-2.

The Speedboys (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Frankford (Philadelphia, PA). The Pioneers enter the PPL - National battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Frankford tipped Prep Charter (Philadelphia, PA), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wolves battle the Franklin Learning Center Bobcats (Philadelphia, PA) in a PPL - National battle, on Friday, October 4. Roxborough will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Parkway Northwest (Philadelphia, PA).
