Lutheran South Lancers (St. Louis, MO) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Webster Groves Statesmen (Webster Groves, MO), 6-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lutheran South improves its record to 10-10 on the year. The Lancers host Windsor (Imperial, MO) to play the Owls in a Class 3 District 3 game on Saturday, October 5. The Owls enter the game with a record of 4-6.

The Statesmen now hold a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Windsor for a non-league game on Friday, October 4.
