Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Academy of Our Lady improves its record to 16-4 on the season. The Penguins host Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA) to face the Pioneers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 7-4. Crescent City Christian won 3-2 in their recent league test against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA)

The now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Private for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Thomas Jefferson will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA). The Redhawks record now stands at 8-11.
