Connecticut High School Volleyball - Oxford over Ansonia

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) and the visiting Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT), observed Oxford's volleyball team top Ansonia by a tally of 3-0.

The Wolverines (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT). The Spartans enter the Naugatuck Valley bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Waterbury Career Academy defeated Derby (Derby, CT), 3-0, in a league bout.

With the loss, Ansonia drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Chargers host Derby (Derby, CT) to clash with the Red Raiders in a Naugatuck Valley bout on Thursday, October 3. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Derby won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Wilby (Waterbury, CT)
