Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grand Isle Trojans (Grand Isle, LA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Central Catholic improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA) to face the Chiefs in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 12-2.

The Trojans now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centerville for a Division V District 6 test on Thursday, October 3. Grand Isle will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.
