Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Christ Episcopal School Wildcats (Covington, LA) and the host Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), observed Christ Episcopal School's volleyball team top Hammond by a count of 3-1.

The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The enter the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Madison Prep Academy was knocked off by McGehee (New Orleans, LA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tornadoes meet the Covington Lions (Covington, LA) in a Division I District 6 contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Hammond will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record.
