In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Jefferson Township Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Morris Catholic Crusaders.

The Falcons (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Vernon (Vernon, NJ). The Vikings enter the Northwest New Jersey - Freedom challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Vernon beat Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 4. Morris Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Devils enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ).
