Ohio High School Volleyball - Northwest over Piketon

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Northwest Mohawks volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Piketon Redstreaks.

The Mohawks (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, OH). The Oaks enter the Southern Ohio II challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Oak Hill beat Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Redstreaks meet the Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Piketon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Shermans enter the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH).
