The Walton-Verona Bearcats topped the visiting Owen County Rebels volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bearcats face the Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 3. Walton-Verona will attempt to advance on its 13-12 season record.

The Rebels (3-17) will now prepare for their game against Williamstown (Williamstown, KY). The Demons go into the non-league game with a 10-10 record. In their last game, Williamstown gained a win over Covington Latin (Covington, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
