The Generals (1-5) will now prepare for their match against West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Comets enter the 2A District 6 match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, West Carter was beaten by Paintsville (Paintsville, KY), 29-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) in a 1A District 5 battle, on Friday, October 10. Berea will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 34-20 non-league win over Holy Cross (Louisville, KY).
