The Savannah Bluejackets football squad (Savannah, GA), was trounced 37-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA)

The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Portal (Portal, GA). The Panthers enter the A D2 Region 3 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Portal crushed Savannah (Savannah, GA), 21-14, in a league contest.

Next up, the Bluejackets encounter the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 bout, on Friday, October 10. Savannah will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 45-0 league loss to Metter (Metter, GA).
