California High School Football - Gilroy toppled by Silver Creek

October 2, 2025: Gilroy, CA 95020

The Gilroy Mustangs football team (Gilroy, CA), dropped 17-7 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA)

The Raiders (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs enter the Santa Teresa - Foothill contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Pioneer gained a win over Westmont (Campbell, CA), 27-7, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Teresa - Valley contest, on Friday, October 10. Gilroy will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 17-6 non-league win over Overfelt (San Jose, CA).
