The Capistrano Valley Cougars football squad scored 33 points and limited the host Edison Chargers to 20 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cypress for a test on Thursday, October 9.

The Chargers (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Griffins enter the challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Los Alamitos ran past St. Francis (La Canada, CA), 50-7, in a non-league challenge.
