In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Mill Creek Hawks football squad scored a nice 45-16 win over the South Gwinnett Comets.
With the win, Mill Creek improves its record to 2-2 on the season.
The Comets now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Gwinnett for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 7. South Gwinnett will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 24-0 non-league win over Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
