In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Cibola Cougars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Los Lunas Tigers.
The Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Storm enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record.
Next, the Tigers meet the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Los Lunas will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM).
