The Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ) flag football tipped the host Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ), 9-7 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Jaguars now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Salpointe Catholic for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 7. Desert View will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 52-0 non-league win over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Lancers record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Hawks battle the Santa Rita Eagles (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 9. Rio Rico will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 28-0 non-league loss to Arete Prep (Gilbert, AZ).
