Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Classical Purple (Providence, RI) and the visiting Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), saw Classical's soccer squad triumph over Johnston by a count of 12-5.
The Purple (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI). The PRIDE come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record.
The Panthers now sport a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Narragansett for a Division 3 outing on Friday, October 10.
